My Contractor broker was established by our founder, Andy McBride. With a background as a management consultant on a contract basis, Andy recognised the challenges that often arise in securing mortgage funding in this context. He began his journey in contractor mortgages in 2008 and has since overseen thousands of contractor mortgage applications.

Our mission remains unchanged since our inception: to ensure that contractors, freelancers, and locums are not disadvantaged for embracing an entrepreneurial approach to their work. Our role is straightforward: we strive to ensure that you receive the same competitive rates from high-street lenders as a permanent employee would.
